Honestly none! wii board is design to help people with their balance and the games are just made to make people a bit more active they are never going to help anyone get into shape becoming a fit healthy person takes more then just moving your arms and legs and standing in one spot, peole that work at market stalls stand and move their arms are they all healthy?... nope.

You need to design a regime that will work and fit into your lifestyle you dont have to be religious about going to the gym or anything like that. If you have kids then why not try fitting them into your work outs like more visits to the park and doing sport activities with them!

If you dont mind going to the gym then they can help you design a fitness regime and give you achievable goals to work towards just ask someone that works at a gym and if they cannont help you they can tell you who will.

If there is one thing you definitely need when trying to get in shape its to be realistic set yourself goals for the week or month maybe do it with a friend and have a little bet or competition. Maybe you can look at upcoming charity events and raise money that way you can help youself and others at the same time! :)

so yea the wii will never get you in shape you need cardio work out aswell as other types standing in one spot doesnt help stamina. you will only become more active not in shape with a wii even tho i do want 1 lol.

GOOD LUCK! :)

I bought the Wii Fit and the EA Sports Active and love them both. The EA Sports Active is better for getting back into shape. Wii Fit is fun too though and has yoga and strengthening exercises. I just love how the EA Sports Active has a personal trainer and shows you exactly how to do each move. Then, you can get a personalized workout each day for the 30 day challenge and it records all of your results. I love it! We also got Deca Sports, Wii Sports and Wii Play. Love em all!

PS. I read a lot of reviews on these games on Amazon and most people said EA Sports Active was the best, next was Wii Fit, My Fitness Coach is ok and that Jillian Michaels is the worst.

BTW.....I disagree with the person who says you can't get fit with the Wii. I am. It works. I don't think they've tried what I have, because I've already lost weight, got more toned, more balanced and I always break a sweat. I box, strengthen muscles, run, squats, lunges, inline skating and much more. You don't just STAND in one place! You run in place, break a sweat for sure and do lots of cardio otherwise! Trust me, they have obviously never been on one! So, unless they've tried it, they have no clue what they are talking about. Not all of us like going to a gym. I eat right, use the Wii, a treadmill and I still walk/hike/run outside.
