I have 2 wii remotes and the nunchuck that came with the system. Do you need a nunchuck for all of the wii games? Also what gamecube games can you use for the wii?

As said above, virtually all Wii games require the nunchuck and remote. More that don’t are the Wii Sports that comes with it (with the exception of the boxing), and Wii Play. Also, we have Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, and some of the events in it don’t require a nunchuck. I would just buy a nunchuck for every remote that you have.
It’s true, every gamecube game does work on the wii, however you do need a game cube controller to play the games. The wiimote and numchuk will not work.
On the back of every game that you but, in the top right corner, it has a picture of a wiimote and somtimes a numchuk with the number of controlers it can handle. As an example, Zelda has the picture of one controller, and one numchuk, mario party has the picture of 4 contollers, 2 numchuks. Zelda is a single player game, mario party is a four player game that has a couple games for just 2 people and 2 numchuks. For the most part, you should only need one numchuk, but 2 should be great if you want to do boxing, and a couple other games that use 2 controllers and 2 numchuks.

All GC games will work on the Wii.
There are a few Wii games that don’t require the nunchuck, but it’s few. Super Paper Mario is one game that only requires the Wii-mote.
