The wiimote and numchuk will not work. On the back of every game that you but, in the top right corner, it has a picture of a wiimote and somtimes a numchuk with the number of controlers it can handle. As an example, Zelda has the picture of one controller, and one numchuk, mario party has the picture of 4 contollers, 2 numchuks. Zelda is a single player game, mario party is a four player game that has a couple games for just 2 people and 2 numchuks. For the most part, you should only need one numchuk, but 2 should be great if you want to do boxing, and a couple other games that use 2 controllers and 2 numchuks. More that don't are the Wii Sports that comes with it (with the exception of the boxing), and Wii Play. Also, we have Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, and some of the events in it don't require a nunchuck. I would just buy a nunchuck for every remote that you have.
