Can I download Wii games on my PC and transfer them to Wii with SD memory card?


Can i download that mini games Wii ware on my computer and then transfer it on Wii with SD memory card? I don’t want to link wii on internet (bad link providers in my country, expensive…). So i found some cool games on wii’s page and i would like to have them.

    No you can’t. Every Wii download will be encrypted with your Wii’s serial number upon download.
    If you download them with your PC, they cannot be correctly signed, and your games will not play.

    You’ll have to download it with your Wii.

    No. But you can find some free online browser-based games on the Internet that work well with the Wii.

    Not without softmodding your wii. That would make pirating way too easy.

    Before you start attempting to pick up Wii games on your PC, please be aware that all WiiWare VC games require a unique Wii Shop ID that’s tagged with the software. If it doesn’t match, you can’t use it.

    Sorry to break it to you, but it’s Nintendo’s anti-piracy measure.
